Venus

Our solar system has 8 planets. There are Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune. Mercury is the nearest planet from the sun and the second is Venus.

Venus spins sun every 224.7 days, but usually many people say that venus spins every 225 days. One day in Venus equals 243 days in earth. It spins the opposite of the earth.
This planet covered with thick clouds. That's why it looks white when we see it through telescope. It is also the brightest planet after moon. Venus reaches its maximum brightness shortly before sunrise or after sunset, for which reason it has been referred to by ancient cultures as the Morning Star.
Venus has the densest atmosphere that consisting mostly of carbon dioxide. The diameter of Venus is 12.103 km. It's smaller than Jupiter.
There is highest mountain in Venus, called Maxwell Motes. It's height 11 kilometers. There are 156 authors that wrote about Venus. They were amazed at the beauty of Venus.
