Tugu Tani Became Flat by Afriyani Susanti

Film producer Afriyani Susanti was named a suspect after she drove her car into a a group of pedestrians, claiming nine lives and severely injuring four other people

                A woman, named Afriyani Susanti made Jl. Ridwan, Tugu Tani, Central Jakarta became flat because of the incident on January, 22^nd ,2012. She consumed drugs, then she drove her car into a group of pedestrians. She claimed nine lives and injured four other while she was lost control because of the drugs. She needs to be punished because of her reckless.

                Afriyani Susanti used drugs. In Indonesia, drugs are prohibited, except hashish that used for cooking certain foods. She used drugs, but she still drove her car while she consumed drugs. In all countries, driving while she or he used drugs is a fatal. She seemed like she didn’t do anything, she didn’t feel guilty although she already claimed nine lives. I watched the video on youtube and there was Afriyani Susanti in that video. At least, she felt ashamed for what she has done to so many people in Tugu Tani and if she felt something, it will be seen from the expression of her face in that video.

                In my opinion, Afriyani Susanti should be jailed because of her action in Tugu Tani. Even she should be jailed for the rest of her life or maybe she should be killed.  20 or 12 years in prison isn’t punishment that enough for her. It will make no deterrent. She already claimed nine lives and it means she should be punished that commensurate with what she has done.
